Busy Weekend Downtown: CHEERSPORT
ATLANTA – (February 12, 2015) Several large events are taking place downtown the weekend of February 13-15, including CHEERSPORT and the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus. With the increased number of downtown visitors, attendees are encouraged to: take MARTA or if driving, purchase parking passes online, take the alternate routes listed below and leave home earlier than normal.

Across the street at Philips Arena, there will be several circus performances from February 11-16 with Saturday and Sunday performances at 11 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. For more information, visit www.philipsarena.com
Take MARTA Attendees are encouraged to take MARTA to minimize traffic. MARTA offers free daily parking at 23 of its stations. The Dome/GWCC/Philips Arena/CNN Center Station is located on the GWCC campus, and fare is $2.50 each way. For more information, visit www.itsmarta.com

Directions to A&B Building
Traveling from the South take I-75/85 North to Andrew Young International Blvd. (Exit 248C). Turn LEFT onto Andrew Young International Blvd. After you cross Marietta Street, the Georgia World Congress Center’s Building A will be on the right just past the Omni Hotel. Parking is available in the Red Parking Deck, which is on your left at the end of Andrew Young International Blvd.
Traveling from the North take I-75/85 South to Williams Street (Exit 249C). (The exit ramp becomes Williams Street.) Turn RIGHT at the first stop light onto Ivan Allen Jr. Blvd. Continue on Ivan Allen Jr. Blvd. Turn left onto Marietta Street, and turn right onto Andrew Young International Blvd NW. The Georgia World Congress Center’s Building A will be on the right just past the Omni Hotel. Parking is available in the Red Parking Deck. The Red Deck will be on your left at the end of Andrew Young International Blvd.
Traveling from the West take I-20 East to Spring Street (Exit 56B). Turn LEFT onto Spring Street, LEFT onto Mitchell Street, and Right on to Mangum St. The Red parking Deck will be on your right. Take the elevator in Red Deck to level 8.
Traveling from the East take I-20 West to Spring Street (Exit 56B). Turn RIGHT onto Spring Street, LEFT onto LEFT onto Mitchell Street, and Right on to Mangum St. The Red parking Deck will be on your right. Take the elevator in Red Deck to level 8.
Directions to C Building
Traveling from the South take I-75/85 North to Central Avenue. (Exit 246) (The exit ramp becomes Central Avenue.) Turn LEFT onto Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive. Turn Left on Spring St. Turn Right onto Mitchell Street. Turn Right on Northside Drive At the bottom of the hill, GWCC Building C is located on your right after you pass the Georgia Dome. Covered parking is available in the Gold Deck located on your right between the Dome and Building C. Surface parking is available in the Blue and Yellow lots on Northside Drive across from Building C.
Traveling from the North take I-75/85 South to Williams Street (Exit 249C). (The exit ramp becomes Williams Street.) Turn RIGHT at the first light onto Ivan Allen, Jr. Blvd. Stay on Ivan Allen. It will take you to Northside Drive. Building C will be on your left once you reach Northside Drive. Surface parking is available in the Yellow lot on the RIGHT on Ivan Allen Blvd. and in the Blue lot on Northside Drive across from Building C. (Turn LEFT onto Northside Drive and Blue lot will be on your RIGHT.) Covered parking is available in the Gold Deck on Northside Drive. (Turn LEFT onto Northside Drive and the Gold Deck will be on your LEFT between Building C and the Georgia Dome.)
Traveling from the North – I-85/75 Southbound Connector- Vehicles traveling Southbound on the I-75/85 connector will be directed via Variable Message Board to exit at North Ave. (Exit 249D). Turn right onto North Ave. Travel North Ave. to Northside Dr. A Variable Message Board will be positioned at that intersection directing vehicles to make a left turn onto Northside Dr. Yellow and Blue Lot parking will be on the right and left on Northside Dr.
Traveling from the West take I-20 East to Spring Street (Exit 56B). Turn LEFT onto Spring Street then LEFT onto Mitchell St. At the bottom of the hill, turn RIGHT onto Northside Drive. GWCC Building C is located on your right after you pass the Georgia Dome. Covered parking is available in the Gold Deck located on your right between the Dome and Building C.
