ATLANTA -(February 15, 2012) Several large events are taking place on the Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC) campus and at nearby venues this weekend, February 18-19, with the largest attendance numbers expected to exceed 100,000 on Saturday. CHEERSPORT, Bronner Bros., Abilities Expo, Professional Bull Riders and a circus event at Philips Arena will all take place downtown this weekend.
With the increased number of downtown visitors, attendees are encouraged to: take alternate routes mentioned below, purchase parking passes online, take MARTA and leave home earlier than normal.

Buy Parking Passes Online
Attendees are encouraged to buy passes online as soon as possible for the GWCC Yellow Parking Lot. The GWCC’s courtesy campus shuttle will take attendees to the building entrance closest to the event they are attending. Take MARTA
Attendees are encouraged to take MARTA to minimize traffic. MARTA offers free daily parking at 23 of its stations. The Dome/GWCC/Philips Arena/CNN Center Station is located on the GWCC campus, and fare is $2.50 each way. The Dome/GWCC/Philips Arena/CNN Center Station will be undergoing scheduled modifications to the ADA Accessibility Gate this weekend. Additional MARTA staff will be on hand to direct ADA Access Customers to exit through the wide fare gate located on the Philips Arena side of the station.
