Four-Legged Friends Aide in Continuous Sustainability Efforts at the GWCCA

(ATLANTA – October. 20, 2015) This month the Georgia World Congress Center Authority (GWCCA) welcomed more than 40 goats to campus to aide in clearing a natural hillside on the grassy embankment of the Ivan Allen Bridge near the north side of the Georgia World Congress Center .

Previously, the GWCCA used a contractor to clear the hillside and take brush and overgrown vegetation to a landfill. With the help of our four-legged friends, we cut the cost of brush removal in half and found a more sustainable and environmentally friendly way to do it!
