Georgia World Congress Center Authority (GWCCA) announced the return of its highly anticipated event, the 2nd Annual Making HERstory, in celebration of Women’s History Month. Scheduled for March 27, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm ET at Auditorium C101 of the Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC), Making HERstory aims to honor the achievements of women, foster dialogue, and empower women at all stages of life in diverse careers.
New to the event this year is an awards ceremony honoring women who have made significant contributions to their communities and industries. The awards include the Making HERstory Community Champion Award presented by The Atlantan, Making HERstory Corporate Champion Award, and the Making HERstory UNconventional Award. Making HERstory serves as a platform to highlight the significant contributions of women leaders in the tourism industry, which plays a vital role in driving Georgia’s economy.
