ATLANTA – (July 25, 2012) The Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC) is pleased to announce that free wireless internet service will soon be available at no charge in the facility’s public areas.
The free service will be offered in lobby areas, lounges, Starbucks and restaurants throughout the facility. The free Wi-Fi service will be available beginning August 1, 2012.
The GWCC and their telecommunications partner, CCLD Networks, have partnered to provide the free wireless internet service which is ideal for visitors to check email and surf the web. Clients that require a more intensive bandwidth connection for downloading documents and streaming video will still be able to pay for an upgraded Wi-Fi connection available through CCLD Networks.
“The needs of our customers are always evolving with technology and we strive to meet these needs on a daily basis,” said Thomas Lloyd, operations manager of CCLD Networks. “Most people now have a smart device that needs to be connected to wireless and this will be a great way to keep them connected while attending an event.”
“Because the customer is the focus of everything we do,” said GWCC General Manager Mark Zimmerman, “we are happy to offer this free service which will make their experience here more convenient.”
