The Georgia World Congress Center Authority (GWCCA) is the largest combined convention, sports, and entertainment campus in North America. Located in the heart of downtown Atlanta, GWCCA’s Championship Campus features over 200 acres of prime event space and includes the world’s largest LEED certified convention center, the Georgia World Congress Center (GWCC), Centennial Olympic Park, a 22-acre greenspace serving as the lasting legacy of the 1996 Summer Olympic Games, and state-of-the-art Mercedes-Benz Stadium, home to the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta United, and many of the country’s finest events. Together with world-class attractions surrounding the campus and approximately 10,000 hotel rooms within walking distance, GWCCA is honored to be regarded as a leader in destination events.

Since 2010, GWCCA has invested over $360M to create a Championship Campus focused on development of world-class venues and improving connectivity between those venues and the surrounding entertainment district. Highlights include a $55M GWCC expansion project, capital campaign improvements to Centennial Olympic Park and soon, GWCCA’s headquarter hotel Signia Hilton.

Today, GWCCA is shifting its focus to 2025 Vision, a plan prioritizing activation of its assets and featuring strategic elements to better brand GWCCA as a destination, achieve employer-of-choice recognition, deliver on quality operating standards, and enhance customer offerings that also drive revenue. This bold plan will continue the Authority’s mission to generate economic benefits for the state of Georgia and enhance the quality of life for every Georgian; deliver on its brand service promise of creating compelling guest experiences; and fulfill its vision to be the No. 1 convention, sports, and entertainment destination in the world.
