Public Notice: Warning Siren Tests on GWCCA Campus

Georgia World Congress Center Authority has recently enhanced its campus safety measures with the addition of a new outdoor warning siren and speaker system designed to keep our campus community and neighbors informed and safe during emergencies such as severe weather events. It is linked to the National Weather Service, ensuring real-time updates. This system can also be activated for non-weather-related emergencies.

GWCCA is in the final stages of preparation and will be testing the system over the next few weeks. Starting November 2023, GWCCA will conduct a monthly test on the first Wednesday of the month at noon (weather permitting). The safety of our team members, guests, and surrounding community is our priority; we appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work together to keep our entire campus community safe.
