Atlanta, April 14, 2014 – SEMCO Productions proudly announced today the premier of its World Culture & Travel Expo, which will be held in Atlanta, April 15-19, 2015. The event will bring the world to the Georgia World Congress Center with 425,000 square feet of international exhibits, travel destinations and entertainment. Countries from all over the world will create elaborate displays highlighting their culture and travel opportunities.
“The World Culture & Travel Expo has been a dream of mine for years,” said Michael Schoppenhorst, director and president of SEMCO Productions. “It’s an opportunity to teach visitors about world cultures from people native to these countries. Atlanta has such a beautiful and diverse cultural mix, and this event is a way to bring everyone together to celebrate that diversity through food, music, history and entertainment.”
While strolling from country to country, visitors will have the opportunity to watch chefs prepare international foods on the Culinary Stage. Guests can also sample beer and wine from around the world, experience music, dance and theatre on the Entertainment Stage and hear about the best ways to globetrot on the Travel Stage. Venues titled See America and Stay & See Georgia showcase attractions that keep your feet firmly planted on U.S. soil. For more information, visit WCTExpo.com
