The Georgia World Congress Center Authority (GWCCA), in partnership with event sponsor The Coca-Cola Company, is bringing its annual Fourth of July Celebration back to Centennial Olympic Park.

The fireworks show will begin at 9:45 p.m. Visitors under 17 years of age are required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian 25 years of age or older at all times.

The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) is Atlanta's public transportation system comprised of a bus and rail system that connects all parts of Atlanta. A single $2.50 fare covers one-way bus or train trips, including transfers.The GWCC is MARTA accessible at two stations.

The GWCCA is MARTA accessible at three stations.

  • Events in Centennial Olympic Park can use the Dome/GWCC/Philips Arena/CNN Center Station (W-1) or the Peachtree Center Station (N-1) which is approximately a six block walk.
  • Events in the Georgia Dome can use either the Dome/GWCC/Philips Arena/CNN Center Station (W-1) or the Vine City Station (W-2)
  • Events in GWCC Buildings A and B can use the Dome/GWCC/Philips Arena/CNN Center Station (W-1)
  • Events in GWCC Building C can use the Dome/GWCC/Philips Arena/CNN Center Station (W-1) or the Vine City Station (W-2)

Parking will be available during the Fourth of July Celebration. The recommended decks are the Red Deck (adjacent to the Georgia World Congress Center) and the Green Deck (connected to the Chick-fil-A College Football Hall of Fame).

Attendees can pre-purchase parking online for $5 or pay on-site the day of the event for $10.


Attendees utilizing rideshare should use the recommended pick-up and drop-off area on Centennial Olympic Park Drive near State Farm Drive.

Prohibited Items

No fireworks/sparklers

No pets

No grills

No illegal drugs

No alcohol may be brought into the Park

No large umbrellas or tents

No bags or backpacks larger than 11×17 in.

No lawn chairs (low profile/beach chairs are permitted)

No coolers or glass containers of any kind.

No skateboards, scooters/e-scooters, hover boards or bicycles inside the event.

Drone Policy:

Out of safety concerns for everyone involved in the Fourth of July Celebration, the Georgia World Congress Center Authority will not authorize any flight operations of any Unmanned Aircraft Systems (“drones”) on its campus on July 4, 2019. This prohibition includes drones used for any purpose whatsoever, whether commercial or non-commercial, professional or amateur, and includes without limitation drone operations during filming or videotaping and drone operations by journalists and all other media. Because this involves a life-safety issue, there will be no exceptions.
