Hey, Atlanta! You’ve got something new to cheer about as the Southeast’s largest fireworks show is returning to Centennial Olympic Park.

Hosted by Georgia World Congress Center Authority, the all-new patriotic celebration, titled “Look Up Atlanta” will take place on Sunday, July 3rd to provide an additional day of fun and fireworks for Atlantans to enjoy with family and friends.

This is a ticketed event with proceeds benefiting the Centennial Olympic Park beautification fund.

Attendees to "Look Up Atlanta" will be able to tailor their visit to the Park’s fireworks spectacular from two options being offered: general admission or a new VIP experience offering amazing amenities and premium viewing locations. Hosted by GWCCA this event celebrates all the things that make Atlanta a great city – from our sports teams and attractions to the culturally diverse and celebrated food and arts scenes.

Look Up Atlanta is an all-new event that has costs associated with its success. The proceeds are being put back into ongoing beautification of Centennial Olympic Park as well as to help grow the event.

VIP Village offers a more exclusive experience within the event, including purchase of some of Atlanta's best bites and beverages. VIP tickets include front-row access to the evening's entertainment and fireworks show, parking, fun summer gifts, and other surprise and delight offerings you won't want to miss.

A parking pass is included with the purchase of up to four adult VIP Village tickets. A second parking pass will be added to orders of up to 10 adult VIP Village tickets.

A maximum of 10 VIP Adult and four VIP Child tickets can be purchased per order.

By hosting on Sunday, July 3rd we hope to provide an additional day of fun and fireworks for Atlantans to enjoy with family and friends.

GWCCA is thrilled to announce an all-Atlanta music showcase featuring America’s Got Talent runner-up Angelica Hale, the Atlanta Symphony Youth Orchestra, and DJ Yvonne Monet. Additionally, gate activations sponsored by the Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta Dream, Atlanta Falcons, and Atlanta United will make your visit to the Park a night to remember. If you’re looking for some family-friendly experiential activities, be sure to visit the Southern Company Amphitheater located just behind the Park’s visitor information center. Don’t forget the “star” of the evening…the fireworks!

The Southeast’s biggest fireworks show will begin at dark around 9:30 pm.

Yes. There will be a variety of food and beverage options available for purchase in both the General Admission and VIP Village areas.

The safety of everyone attending Look Up Atlanta is our number one priority. While light rain isn't an issue, thunderstorms, lightning, and high winds can pose a problem for the fireworks and attendees. GWCCA will partner with the National Weather Service to monitor weather systems several days leading up to as well as live track throughout the day of Look Up Atlanta.

The following items are prohibited from Look Up Atlanta in Centennial Olympic Park:

  • No bags or backpacks. Clear bags under 12x12x6 will be permitted; bags may not have colored tinting or obstructive patterns. Simple logos are permitted. Attendees and their belongings are subject to search.
  • No fireworks/sparklers
  • No coolers
  • No glass containers or outside food may be brought into the event
  • No large umbrellas or tents
  • Beach, low-profile, and tailgate chairs are permitted
  • No skateboards, scooters, hoverboards, or bicycles inside the event
  • No pets
  • No grills
  • No illegal drugs of any kind
  • Alcohol may not be brought into the Park
  • Georgia World Congress Center Authority reserves the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason
  • Event visitors under 17 years of age are always required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian 25 years of age or older at all times
  • No banners or signs of any kind
